This recipe speaks to all the wonderful fall flavors of the Pacific Northwest. Crispy Apples, juicy Pears, crunchy Carrots and ooey-gooey Dates. Easy to prepare, delicious and so pretty!
Ingredients
Peel, core and quarter apples and pears and thinly slice them with the knife or food processor
Pit the dates, peel and roughly chop carrots. Place pitted dates and carrots in the food processor with an S blade and chop them until a uniform mixture is formed.
In a deep bowl add sliced apples and pears and date carrot mixture. Mix to coat evenly and tightly pack it in the bowl.
Cover the bowl with the plate. Holding the plate like a lid turn the bowl upside down until the bowl content falls on the plate to form a volcano.
